The task of the Sympathieteams is to bring together people and knowledge from all over the world, to awaken creativity and experience and to promote the Saarland.

We are looking for Saarlanders. Of course those born in the Saarland, but, by our own re-definition also anyone who has a positive relationship with the Saarland, people who have studied here, worked here or even just passed through.

Within a blink of an eye we have created the "Global Saarlander"- a cosmopolitan and tolerant person that has retained a place deep in their heart for the Saarland.
