The Bartz – Werke GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Dr. Arnold Schäfer GmbH. Bartz has production plants in Dillingen and Dresden, as well as a logistics center in Bamberg. A total of 200 staff are employed in the group and in 2008, the turnover was realized from 48 million Euros.

Automated Casting series:

In the foundry in Dillingen be connected castings with a weight between 1 and 300 kg mainly for automation and drive industry but also for general engineering industies in grey cast iron (EN-GJL) or nodular iron (EN-GJS).

Cast moulding line with a moulding size of 1100 x 1050 x 270/270+50 produced.

Specialty foundry for electric motor housings.

In the iron foundry in Dresden are predominantly made of cast iron electric motor housings up to weight of 4.000 kilograms into a special procedure, the core block procedures.

Our trading department CASTrade offers castings from Eastern Europe and Asia, including including logistical management of our Logisticcenter Bamberg.

Stainless steel tubes for exhaust systems:

In the Dillingen factory are manufactured thin-walled, Laser- or TIG – welded tubes in steel or stainless steel. 

Diameter:     80 – 500 mm
Thickness:    0,4 – 2,0 mm
Fixlenghts:    80 – 1.000 mm

The tubes are often used as bodies for mufflers or catalytic converters for the automotive industry.

Cylindrical tubes or perforated pipes mainly for exhaust technology.

Heating technology:

Trade in heating equipement from national and international cooperation partners. The range includes ovens, stoves, pellet stoves, inserts and accessories. Sales to wholesalers and retailers nationwide. Regional to end users in the Showrooms in Dillingen (Saar) and Pöhla (Erzgebirge).
